Image credits policy
- We use only images that we own, that are properly licensed, or that are royalty-free for this kind of use. We do not take images from search results or other websites without permission.
- Where a licence asks for a credit, we give it next to the image or on the page.
- Some illustrations or pictures may be created with AI image tools. We identify them where it matters and review them before use.
- Book covers and the author’s own photographs are used with the owner’s permission.
If you believe we have used your work without permission
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act for one, and believe that something on this Site infringes your copyright, you may send us a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact address (URL) of the page where the material appears.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We review notices promptly. If the material is found to infringe, we will remove or disable access to it and may tell the person who supplied it.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, a description of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your name, address, telephone number and email, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address. We may restore the material in line with the law.
Repeat infringers
We may end the access of anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
Please note that knowingly sending a false notice can have legal consequences. If you are unsure whether something is infringing, we suggest speaking to a lawyer.
